Double-heading the two Americans. In the lead is Dan Rankin and his American that burns coal. Right behind him is Wayne Lass and his American that runs on LP gas. Also riding along are several of the young boys that attended.
Stopped at the crossing, both engines have "popped off" meaning that the boilers are at maximum pressure. I guess they just needed to chat a little.

One of the guest engineers of the day. This is Scott Buth and his boys, Joshua (just behind Scott) and Tyler (with the oversized hat!). They are running the diesel switcher while the steam engines get ready to run.
